WHY THIS
SITE EXISTS.

A note from Liz B. Baker

When ChatGPT went viral in November 2022, I was in the middle of visiting 52 churches in 52 weeks, from Texas to Toronto, gathering insights about what makes some churches thrive while others struggle. Faith was on my mind every day.

I knew immediately that AI had the potential to help resource-constrained churches with small staffs and tight budgets do things that used to require teams they couldn't afford. I bought christianai.com on December 9, 2022, hoping eventually to use it to provide resources and guidance for faith-based leaders navigating this moment.

It's 2026, and the site is ramping up.

I'm not just a Christian leader. I spent two decades inside the Fortune 500 leading transformation at Verizon, TIAA-CREF, and MeadWestvaco. I did digital consulting for years. Now I work across business, government, higher education, nonprofits, and faith-based organizations to help them take advantage of AI wisely. I wrote a book about it. I founded an institute around it. And I genuinely want faith-based leaders to both utilize and be part of the evolution of AI.

This site exists because the church has something much of the tech world is missing: an ethical center, a commitment to community, and a long view of human flourishing. Those aren't just values. They're the raw materials for leading the most consequential technology of our generation.

Everything here is designed to help you think clearly, act wisely, and lead your community through this moment with confidence. Use what's helpful. Share what resonates. And if you need something you don't see, reach out.
